This week marks Teacher Appreciation Week, and we have so many reasons to appreciate our dedicated and committed staff at UHS. On a personal level, over the past three years this staff has given me their trust and commitment as we have roared through significant changes, ranging in change from the master schedule, to our focus areas in terms of teaching and learning, to a very philosophy in how we conduct business. From the students' standpoint, I continuously hear about their kindness, generosity, and wisdom, their collegiality, and their willingness to help students through failures. In short, they model our core values on a very consistent basis.
As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, our administrative team sponsored breakfast (with enough goodies to last us a couple of days), and our video classes quickly pulled together this project, to thank the teachers for all they do!
If you have a minute, thank a teacher. They really are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and toward building academic, social-emotional, and civic capacity in so many ways!
