As we are at the start of the School Year, we have some student activities that are getting underway, including a couple of new activities. Part of our School Improvement Plan includes developing and enhancing opportunities for students to be involved, including co-curricular organizations, so we are pleased with these developments!
1. Science Olympiad: Science Olympiad is a club that allows students to compete against other schools in a number of science-based competitions. Interested students can meet with Mr. Lui after school on September 7 or email for more details.
2. Drama Club: There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in participating in the UHS drama program on Monday, September 11 during Flex Block. The meeting will be held in the auditorium. Email Ms. Penza for more details or information.
Also, be on the lookout for information regarding the development of an Art Club/Art Society, which will be forthcoming!
