Just a reminder that athletic registrations and user fee payment ($185 for UHS sports) are due this Friday, August 3. Any registrations after this Friday will be subject to a $25 late fee.
As we have consistently relayed with a sense of urgency, athletic registrations will drive scheduling decisions. Please help us get our schedules to a point of completion by registering on time! Thank you!
This blog will provide updates and announcements from Uxbridge High School and UHS Principal Mike Rubin. All views expressed here are those of the Principal.

Schoolwide Learning Expectations Report
Good afternoon,
We are pleased to share the whole-school progress in meeting our school-wide learning expectations. Many of you will recall that our Report Card comments changed to reflect individual student progress in making progress toward meeting school-wide expectations, which is measured by our school-wide rubrics. As for the whole school's progress, this report shares our composite information, which is something we will compile twice per year.
Our reason for doing so is to help share and validate our core values and beliefs about learning, that our students are achieving the skills that we want to see in them before they graduate from UHS. Parents can expect to see feedback on multiple assignments in each discipline, and reporting of progress via report card comments and a whole-school report just occurred as part of the report card. You can also compare your individual student's progress to the whole group, see the pattern in certain departments, and see how many of our students improve with respect to these habits over time.
All of School-wide learning expectation data can be found on the "Academics" tab on the high school website or by linking here.
Feel free to reach out to teachers, counselors, or administration with any questions.
Best,
Michael Rubin, Principal
