NHS Service Project

Our National Honor Society chapter is attempting to contribute aid to Haiti following the devastation of Hurricane Matthew, with the death toll now  over one thousand people. From now until October 31st, we will be competing with other schools in SWCL to see who can collect the most donations. NHS will have a collection bin outside the main office. Supplies needed are:
Peanut butter
Canned tuna
Canned chicken
Canned spam
Canned spam
Powdered milk
Tang
Pasta
Children's vitamins(Chewable not gummy)
Over the counter pain medications (Tylenol, Motrin)
Towels
Bars of soap
Duct tape
D batteries
Heavy duty ponchos

Any donation is appreciated to help UHS donate the most. Donations will be sent to the "Be like Brit" foundation of Worcester. This organization is run by the parents of Britney Gengel in honor of their daughter who died in the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 while helping those less fortunate. Her parents wanted to keep her memory alive so they created this organization to help serve the children of Haiti.

Any questions contact marissa.allegrezza@uxbridge.k12.ma.us or Ms. Bouchard, chapter advisor.
