Weekly News and Notes

Good afternoon,

Happy January, er, April! At some point, we may actually get some spring weather and be able to report on the start of the spring sports season, but, right now, it's been challenging! Hopefully we get things to clear up and dry up soon.

Some updates:

End of Day Pickup

Please avoid lining up at the front of the building. There should be no cars in the faculty/student lot, nor should families be parked/idle in the parking lot in the front of the building. For example, today, because cars were lined up around the corner and up alongside the football field, there was no way for an emergency vehicle to access the building. Please turn at the first driveway, and park either on the driveway at the middle or in the student parking lot if you are picking up at the end of the day.

Senior Exams

Senior exams will coincide with MCAS, the week of May 21. With May 25 a tentative half-day for UHS, the senior exam schedule will conclude on May 24. The full schedule can be viewed here.

Vertical Concert and Art Show

Thanks to everyone who attended the art show and vertical concert on Wednesday evening! We had an amazing show of talent, from the artists, sculptors, painters, drawers, and photographers, not to mention another terrific showcase of our musical program from grade 6 all the way to grade 12. Many thanks to Ms. Struppa, Ms. Munley, Mr. Barros, and Ms. Penza from UHS and Ms. Williams and Mr. Hicks from MMS for their contributions!

Have a great weekend!
